Appointments

Our appointment book is computerized, which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come in immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency.

Emergency & Urgent Care

We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty six days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet's life. Emergencies can be things such as accidental ingestion of rat poison, hit by car, and chocolate ingestion. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call or come in immediately.

We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening. If you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment, our veterinarians will work to "squeeze" you in between scheduled appointments. When you arrive, our receptionists will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.

We will see emergencies the same day at a 200 dollar fee. Does not include any diagnostics. Must call ahead.

No Show/Late Arrival Policy

Late Arrival Policy:

We asked that you arrive at your pets schedule appointment time.  If you're more than 5 minutes late, you may be asked to reschedule your appontment
and you may incur a $60 no show/cancellation fee.

We will try to accommodate you, with the understanding you may incur a longer than normal wait time.

No Show/Cancellation Policy:

Across the nation, the veterinary field has been experiencing an influx of appointment requests. Because of this, we have found that we are booking appointments a few weeks out for non-emergent cases. We do our best to accommodate every client by strategically scheduling appointments, but sometimes we still need to defer patients to a future date.

Recently we’ve experienced an increased number of ‘no-show’ appointments or last-minute cancellations, which means that an appointment spot becomes available but with no time to fill it. To ensure other pets have the opportunity to access the medical care they need, we will be implementing a no-show / late cancellation fee.

Effective February 21, 2023, we will begin enforcing this new policy. If an appointment is not canceled at least 24 hours in advance, a $98.00 fee will be billed to your account. If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, you must call us directly at (908) 273-2200. Please note: If you cancel via Pet Desk you will be charged a no show fee. Please call the office!
